2023 State Minimum Wage Rates

Since 2009 the federal minimum wage rate has been set at $7.25 per hour, 15 states mirror that rate. 

Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee have no state minimum wage; however, the federal minimum wage applies in those states.
