Climate change: affecting country

The respondents who say they’ve heard of climate change, a clear majority feel it is already making life worse, 44% shows that their lives are “much worse” and another 24 % say “somewhat worse,” reporting the negative impacts. Equally, only 12 % believe things are “somewhat better” and 57% “much better.  While just 10 % perceive no change answer Afrobarometer. These perceptions align with broader Afrobarometer findings showing that, among those aware of climate change, over seven in ten reports that it is already making life in their country worse, likely reflecting lived experiences of more severe droughts and floods.  The question that was asked.   Do you think climate change is making life in [country] better or worse, or haven’t you heard enough to say?
