Notes: This chart uses data from the European Alternative Fuels Observatory (EAFO). EAFO sources its information primarily from TENtec but applies additional aggregation, cleaning, and deduplication rules. As a result, figures shown here may differ slightly from raw TENtec data used in other parts of the report.

Declines in Norway and Spain from 2023 to 2024 reflect data quality improvements and AFIR-aligned standardization, including removal of non-operational points and deduplication, rather than physical decommissioning.
