Work-place injuries in Nelson have halved

Annual work-related injury claims per 1000 working age people in Nelson and other New Zealand cities, 2002–2023.

Rates are calculated using the total number of claims per year and the subnational population estimate as at June 30. Wellington, Porirua, Hutt and Upper Hutt cities have been combined. The working age population is defined as people aged from 15 to 64 years old.
