Most consecutive days with rain in Sacramento

The latest round of storms to hit the capital region have produced at least 14 days of consecutive rain at the downtown Sacramento gauge, according to records kept by the National Weather Service. Since Dec. 26 and through Jan. 11, the gauge has had measurable rain for 16 of 17 days.
