Some counties in the Coastal Bend use way more water per resident than others 

In 2023, the Coastal Bend used around 292 gallons of water a day per person. Counties like Aransas used a relatively low amount, around 150 gallons a day per capita, while other counties like Nueces, San Patricio, and McMullen had higher per capita use due to higher water thirsty activities like manufacturing, mining and irrigation.
