This graph displays Saguaro National Park’s PM2.5 levels over a 30-day period. The light green line represents the PM 2.5 measurements at 4PM. The dark green line represents the PM 2.5 measurement at 5PM. The highs and lows of each data set are displayed by the highest points that are labeled with their corresponding PM2.5 levels. The Y axis represents the PM 2 levels measured in (µg/m³) and the X axis represents the date. The recommended the daily PM2.5 maximum guideline set by the World Health Organization is 15 (µg/m³). The Saguaro National Park datasets were usually higher than the maximum guideline, thus this indicates poor air quality. The general trend is that the PM2.5 measurements are similar during 4PM and 5 PM because the lines generally peak and dip together. This makes sense because our chosen times are so close together. Peaks in the PM2.5 could be due to human activity or weather changes during the day in the surrounding park area that results in pollutants and particles that are less than 2.5 micrometers in diameter.
