Have cities become more bike-friendly in the past 10 years?

How residents rated the biking experience in German cities in 2012 and 2022, on a scale from 0 (worst) to 10 (best).

The survey included 80,000 participants in 2012 and 245,000 in 2022.
Ratings are remapped to a 0–10 scale. The original survey uses a scale from 1 to 6, where 1 is best.
